CUTTER HODIERNE is an award-winning director. His debut feature film FISHING WITHOUT NETS, a story of pirates in Somalia told from the perspective of the pirates, won 'Best Director' at the Sundance Film Festival and was called "Sundance's most beautiful film" by The Wrap. His short film of the same title garnered international acclaim, including the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance. The short was expanded into the first scripted feature film financed by VICE Studios and distributed by FOX. Cutter was named one of the 25 New Faces of Independent Film and was a fellow at the Sundance Screenwriter's Lab.
Cutter's work in interactive mediums includes VR experiences like STRENGTH IN NUMBERS - NBA FINALS VR for OCULUS, A virtual museum exhibit: BERLIN WALL VR and art-installation films like OMNIA PER OMNIA. Cutter has also directed commercials for major brands like Intel, Microsoft, AEG, LiveNation, (RED), and others. Cutter began his career directing music videos in Washington, DC before traveling the world with U2 directing tour documentaries for the historic U2-360 Tour.
